Glowmatic is built to work without an account. This policy explains the little data the app does handle: what it is, why we need it, who it's shared with, and how to have it deleted.

We don't have accounts, so we have no name, email address, or password to lose. Nothing above is linked to you personally; it's linked to a random identifier your device generates on first launch.
The device identifier
When you first open Glowmatic, the app generates a random identifier and stores it in your device's secure, app-private storage (the Keychain on iOS). It's sent with each request so our server knows which credits and batch history belong to your install. It is not your Apple ID, your Google account, or an advertising identifier, and we don't use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Because there's no account, this identifier is also the only way to reach your history: if you uninstall the app or switch devices without transferring it first, your credits and photo library on our servers become unreachable and are treated as abandoned.
Your photos
A photo you select is uploaded directly to our storage over an encrypted connection, processed to apply your chosen style, and the result is sent back to your device. Generating the style requires sending the photo to our image-processing provider, Google, as part of that one request; we do not grant Google any other use of your photos beyond producing that result.
We do not use your photos to train any model, we do not review them manually except to investigate abuse reports or legal requests, and we do not share them with anyone other than the processing provider named above.
Uploaded source photos are deleted from our storage once processing finishes. Generated results are kept for a limited period so you can revisit your library and re-download them, and are deleted automatically after that.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives your device identifier and purchase receipts so it can grant the right entitlement; it does not receive your name, email, or payment details, which stay with Apple or Google.
Content moderation
We reserve the right to reject uploads that violate our Terms of Use, and to suspend access for a device that repeatedly does so. Rejected uploads are not processed and any credit spent on them is refunded.
Children
Glowmatic is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has used Glowmatic and provided us data through it, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Your rights and deleting your data
Since Glowmatic only knows you by a device identifier, there's no login to delete an account from. To have your device record, batch history, credits and purchase history permanently deleted from our systems, email support@glowmatic.app from the app or with your device identifier (found in the app's settings) and we will process the request without unnecessary delay. If you're in the EU or UK, this is your right to erasure under GDPR; we honor equivalent requests regardless of where you live.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note it in the app.
